Have you ever wondered what it feels like to be a creature that lives on Uranus? Well to be honest, I have a friend of mine who lives there.
It all started when my friend and I were working on a project. By the way, my name is Rose.
"We did it! We actually built a machine that teleports us to Mars," I screeched in excitement.
"Better test it", said Caitlyn, looking worried.
"Then go in", I said calmly leading the way.
We closed our eyes and stepped in with our winter coats hanging around our necks. We felt a chilly breeze pasting. We slowly opened our eyes and froze.
"I think there's a mistake. We're walking on air not solid rock", Caitlyn murmured nervously. "I think we're on Uranus. There's Saturn and I can't see Mars." Caitlyn sighed. We were in a ditch so we climbed out trying to see through the fog and we were surprised to see what was on the surface of Uranus.
There were what looked like giant fish bowls tipped upside down. They were the colours navy and red. The shops and other buildings were like dog kennels of the colours the pink and bright yellow. The thing that was interesting was that there were blue funny puff balls with orange noses, that were living on Uranus.
We came up to some of the public, but then they seemed to notice us.
We tried to step in but there was something blocking our way. Caitlyn gently moved her hand across the thing that was blocking our way, and then said, pointing to it lazily, "Oh, it's a forcefield which is covering the whole city."
"Maybe not the whole city."
Caitlyn looked at me not understanding what I was saying. "There might be a gap or something that we can go through," I clarified.
Caitlyn nodded her head now understanding me. We began walking around the invisible forcefield.
Soon we saw that the forcefield has become visible. It was purple.
Among the purple we saw a hole in the forcefield we entered and found ourselves in a tunnel. Just then we heard thunder. We squeezed each other tightly and slowly appeared an entrance of a cave. It was pouring outside so we decided to stay inside.
Suddenly six creatures entered the cave.
Then the cave door slammed shut, leaving us with the creatures.
Caitlyn searched inside her bag making a rattle. We heard the creatures scream. Caitlyn got her torch and shone it on the creatures. I let my hand out and said gently, "Hello."
One of the creatures came and said, "Hello, what are you?"
I saw they had no hands so I took mine back.
"We are humans from earth, but we promise not to hurt you."
All the creatures smiled and all said at once, "We are Zombeanise."
The cave shook. We all went silent.
We burst out laughing, and then we stopped.
The Zombeanise told us that they were picking berries when two loud, booming noises scared them, so they rushed in. "But Zabel bumped the door and now we are stuck in here."
He paused, then spoke, "And now he's the only person who can save us."
We looked at each other and then to one another. We knew what had made the noises. It was us banging on the forcefield.
As our thoughts faded away, the door of the cave opened and millions of Zombeanise were there waiting for results.
We all came out of the cave and everyone was staring at us. They looked at us and then to a carving on the cave wall. The carving looked like ... us!
